Serial-numbered property

Motor vehicles, watercraft, aircraft and some intellectual property, which can be registered and searched by serial number.

For commercial goods, registering by serial number is optional but valuable: a buyer or financier searching the VIN will find the interest. For consumer goods it is mandatory. Motor vehicle includes most forklifts and ride-on plant.
