PPSA
The Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth), the law behind the PPSR.
The PPSA sets out what counts as a security interest, how it is perfected, who ranks first when two parties claim the same property, and what happens to unregistered interests when the grantor becomes insolvent. It applies to almost all property other than land.
