Consumer property
Personal property held by an individual for personal, domestic or household use.
Registrations over consumer property have extra rules: serial numbers are required for vehicles and similar goods, the registration cannot exceed seven years, and the Privacy Act and National Credit Code may apply to the underlying arrangement.
