Amendment demand

A grantor's formal demand that a registration be amended or removed.

If the grantor believes a registration is wrong or no longer justified, it can serve an amendment demand on the secured party's address for service. The secured party has five business days to respond or the grantor can apply to the Registrar or the court. Ignoring one can end a valid registration.
